Fort McMurray Casino Log / About the log
How the Shift Log works
Checked October 11, 2026Filed by the Shift Log desk
Fort McMurray Casino Log is an independent guide to Rivers Casino & Entertainment Centre, written by the Shift Log desk. It is not a casino and not the casino's own site.
Who writes the Log
The Shift Log desk is the collective name of this guide's editors. It is not a person, and it has no portrait. The guide is not affiliated with Rivers Casino, PURE Casino Entertainment or any gaming operator.
No bets are taken here. There are no accounts and no cashier. The site also has no forms and no analytics. The calculators run inside the reader's browser and send nothing anywhere. A light or dark theme picked by the reader stays only in that browser tab.
How facts are checked
We checked the facts on this site on October 11, 2026. The sources were the casino's own pages at riverscasino.ca, the AGLC casino directory and winnersedge.ca. The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and Alberta's help services were also checked.
When the casino does not publish something, the guide says so. That covers parking, dinner service hours, table minimums, a dress code and holiday hours. Holiday hours should be checked with the casino.
The calculators use only published hours in Mountain Time and the times and amounts a reader enters. They do not estimate travel times and never count winnings. The budget calculator only divides a spending limit and a time limit the reader sets. Distances are straight lines between two map points, and road distance is longer. Directions are left to Google Maps.
How the site is paid for
Paid links appear on the home page only, and each one is marked Ad. There are three: a button in the header, a block below the first screen and a block near the end. All lead to the same online casino partner, and that partner can change. The site earns a commission from it.
Inner pages carry no paid links. Links to the casino, the regulator, the municipality, Google Maps and help services are not paid either.
About the pictures
The pictures on this site are illustrations made for the guide. They show no real room of the casino, no logos and no signs. Gamehost Inc. has joined the PURE Casino Entertainment family, and Rivers Casino says it is business as usual for guests. This guide is not part of that family and is not affiliated with it.
